The Giclée Method

April 2, 2017 Zane Corn

French for ink-spray, Giclée (zhee-klay) is an advanced method of fine art reproduction. It is an intricate process of digitizing works of art by fine tuning every color, line, and nuance. The art is printed on fine canvas or watercolor paper using layered archival pigments. The end result is a stunning reproduction that stays true to the color, quality and feel of the original artwork. A Giclée print should have a life span of 100 years or more if properly cared for by the owner.

The Giclée method is used to make every limited-edition print of Mary Lou's work. Our reproductions are printed by Grindstone Digital Imaging located in Columbia, Missouri. Prints are carefully rolled up with a protective film and packaged in reinforced triangular tubes. Every shippment is insured via Priority Mail.
